The article discusses the application of life cycle assessment (LCA) for developing the environmental declaration of dairy baby food. It is shown that despite the presence of the required standards today in Russia there is a lack of methodology and practical experience in developing of environmental declarations. The LCA results identified the most important environmental indicators of the production are shown.
