Editorial Policy

Editorial policy of the Scientific Journal of the National Research University of ITMO. The Economics and Environmental Management series is based on the principles of open access recommended by DOAJ and is aimed at publishing scientific views, results and achievements of fundamental and theoretical and applied research, which focuses on the problems and prospects of microeconomic theory, theory of transitional economics and transformation of socio-economic systems, spatial economic transformations, research trends, patterns factors and conditions of functioning and development of regional socio-economic subsystems, as well as environmental management.

The editorial board of the journal is guided in its activities by the provisions of Chapter 70 "Copyright" of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation, as well as codes and standards developed by the International Committee on Publication Ethics –COPE).

In order to assess the relevance, originality, and scientific novelty of materials on the stated topics, as well as to improve the quality of published articles and ensure a high scientific level in the journal, peer review is carried out.

Articles accepted for publication go through a full cycle of editorial processing and proofreading. There is no charge from the authors for editing and publishing. No royalties are paid.

The goals and objectives of the journal are aimed at creating an information space for expanding the dialogue between reputable and young scientists; providing free access to full-text scientific articles, increasing the accessibility and openness of the journal in Russia and abroad; expanding the editorial board and reviewers with the involvement of reputable domestic and foreign experts; inclusion in international databases; increasing the impact factor of the journal; promotion on the international and Russian market.

Any author can be published in the journal, regardless of place of residence and nationality, who has submitted to the editorial board a manuscript that is not intended for simultaneous publication in other publications. Acceptance of articles for publication in the journal is carried out on a regular basis.

The copyright belongs to the authors of the articles. Non-exclusive rights to use the materials of the Scientific Journal of the National Research University of ITMO. The Economics and Environmental Management series belongs to ITMO University as the founder and publisher. Reprinting of materials in whole or in part, undertaken for educational or research purposes, is possible only with reference to the journal's output data with mandatory indication of the copyright holder and the names of the authors of the articles.
