Information for authors

The Editorial Board accepts for consideration only original, previously unpublished articles that thematically correspond to the profile of the journal.

The journal is published 4 times a year, quarterly and publishes electronic versions of articles on the website. www.economics.ihbt.ifmo.ru .

The material is accepted in file form by e-mail ivy94@rambler.ru (correspondence with the editorial staff will be carried out at the same address).

The following documents are provided to the editorial office:

1. A card for each author of the article (in Russian and English):

  • last name, first name, patronymic (in full),
  • academic degree, title, unique number (ID ORCID),
  • full name of the organization (according to the Charter),
  • organization's address,
  • email address for contacts.

2. The published article, prepared in accordance with the rules for formatting articles in electronic form in Word format.

3. When submitting a manuscript, the author's registration in ORCID is mandatory.

ORCID is a non–profit project that aims to assign a unique code to each author of a scientific article. The main purpose of the identification code is to eliminate discrepancies in the names of the author. The new ORCID ID identification system (read in Russian as "orkid") assigns each scientist its own unique number (ID ORCID), similar to a barcode in a store. It is a 16-digit numeric code. The letters from the spelling of the first and last names are replaced with numbers, which immediately solves all problems: pronunciation and translation into other languages, automates the identification of the author and his connection with published articles. According to this code, a scientist is easily identified by scientific organizations and communities, publishing houses, and foundations.

Registration with an ID ORCID is free of charge.

Major publishers such as CrossRef, Elsevier, IEEE, ImpactStory, Thomson Reuters, Wiley and others cooperate with the ORCID system to obtain information about authors.

Rules for the design of articles.

In Russian and English:

  • in the upper left corner is the UDC;
  • the title of the article (centered);
  • degree, full name of the author, e-mail, place of work, work address;
  • abstract (at least 200 words in the form of a short abstract should contain the subject and purpose of the work, objects and methods of research, the essence of the experiment, the results and recommendations for their application);
  • keywords (5-10 words or phrases without abbreviations should reflect the discipline (field of science), topic, purpose, object of research).

The volume of the main text of the article should be at least 25 thousand characters with spaces and should have a clear structure, including an introduction, several substantive sections and a conclusion. The text is typed in the Microsoft Word editor in the TimesNewRoman 12 pt font, regular with a line spacing of 1, page-width alignment. The paragraph indentation is 10 mm, the margins are narrow.

Drawings are made taking into account subsequent reproduction by means of operational polygraphy: line drawings (drawings, diagrams, graphs, technical drawings) – in accordance with the requirements of the ESCD – programmatically, using graphic editors.

Formulas and individual characters are typed only using the MathType formula editor (Microsoft Equation). Russian and Greek letters, as well as the designations of trigonometric functions, are typed in a straight font, Latin letters in italics. Formulas are placed in the center of the page and numbered (only those that are referenced).

The literature (at least 15 sources) is given in the order of citation of the works in the text. In the text of the article, the ordinal number of the source is given in parentheses for all positions from the list of cited literature. It is not recommended to include textbooks, manuals, or sources in the list of references that have been published for more than 10 years. Regulatory documents, if necessary, are made out in the form of footnotes. The design of bibliographic references is carried out in accordance with the requirements of GOST 7.0.5-2008 (pay special attention to sources from the Internet). The number of links to your own sources should not exceed 5 (five). References are made in English according to the official translations of the titles of books/articles/magazines/publishers, etc. In the absence of an official translation, the titles of books and articles are translated into English independently, and the titles of journals and publishers are transliterated according to the BSI system. Specify the DOI in all sources to which it is assigned.

Articles that do not meet the design requirements are not accepted for publication and are returned to the authors for revision without consideration on their merits.

The editorial board of the journal checks the articles accepted for publication for the amount of borrowings. In case of detection of a significant amount of unjustified borrowing, the article is not accepted for consideration and returned to the author for making changes.

Articles proposed for publication in the journal are subject to mandatory peer review in accordance with the Regulations on Peer Review. The Editorial Board decides on the publication of an article based on a review prepared by a specialist in this subject area with an academic degree. The Editorial Board reserves the right to reject the article or return it for revision.

The decision on publication is made by the editorial board within 2 months from the date of registration of the manuscript in the editorial office. The selection of materials for the current issue is determined by editorial plans.

There is no payment of royalties for publications.
