Currently in Russia there is a formation of the legal framework for the transition to the environmental impact evaluation on the basis of the best available technologies (BAT). The article deals with the conditions of implementation of life cycle assessment to determine the environmental performance of food technologies and develop of information system on the BAT in the juice production.
