The modern world has strong connected itself with plastic cards of various kinds and applicabilities. In clause the mechanism of calculations by means of plastic cards is studied. The role and the importance of plastic cards in system of monetary circulation of the country is considered, modern Russian payment systems are studied. Perfection of different discount systems and the Internet - technologies, in many respects defines development of the financial market on manufacture of cards, as the most perspective. The analysis of bank cards as not only the tool of calculations between legal and physical persons on trade enterprises, servicing of bank in-home and on workplaces, but also as tool of cashing in of means available on current and loan accounts through cash dispenses is made. Transformation of new forms of economic attitudes has led to re-structuring bank system and introduction in a turn of new calculations by means of software. Their number includes also calculations by bank plastic cards which also will be considered in given clause.
