Proceedings of the forerunners of Russian economic thought (Hermolaus-Erasmus, Ordyn-Nashekin, Krizanic and others) were not known at all or were known to the extremely limited circle of contemporaries. For the first time in the history of Russia a potentially massive popularity among his contemporaries could get economic views of Peter Rychkov (1712-1777)described them in "Correspondence between two buddies of Commerce", which was published in the first national magazine: "Monthly works to the benefit and entertainment", published in St. Petersburg academician G. F. Miller (1705 - 1783). The work of P. I. Rychkov played a crucial role in shaping the readers civilized notions of entrepreneurial activity in Russia in the XVIII century and was included in the "Golden Fund" of Russian economic thought.
