The article presents organizational and legal institutes of regulation of the valuation of the property complex in Russian practice. The article discusses the need for common assessment standards; the reasons for the prevalence of national legislation in the field of evaluation of the property complex: the characteristic of the Russian legislation in the sphere of valuation of assets; shows the interaction of the state mechanism and market mechanism of regulation of the process of valuation of assets on basis of using of Federal evaluation standards; gives a brief description of existing Federal evaluation standards; shows the model of system of regulation of the valuation of the property complex; makes conclusion about the necessity of participation of representatives of all branches and spheres of economy in the improvement of the process and assessment standards.
