One of the most important parts of the global economy nowadays are international capital markets. The process of international economic integration made them a global system of capital flow allocation. It is important to note, that international capital flows corresponded international trade operations, but now the main reason for capital movement is a search for investment opportunities. The primary goal of this article is to investigate the impact of the international capital flows on the economic growth. The authors analyse the results of the previous foreign and Russian studies. Our hypothesis is that the impact of the international capital flows is stronger in developing countries than in developed. We define the main factors and evaluate the impact of the international capital flows on the economic growth in Russia and in USA applying the factor analysis. Our main result is that international capital flows has stronger impact on economic growth in Russia than in USA.
