The article provides an overview of modern methods and technologies for automotive paint and applied indicators that characterize the environmental impact of technologies. The proposed system of indicators allows to assess the effectiveness and efficiency of implementation of best available techniques (BAT) for the automotive industry. As an example of the application of the proposed system it is considered the resource efficiency evaluating of technologies at the paint shop of automotive copmany. The indicator of resource efficiency consists of consumption of abiotic and biotic resources, water and air.
