The paper presents an assessment of the dynamics of construction waste recycling generated in St. Petersburg in 2008-2012. The assessment is based upon statistical data. The problem of construction waste recycling is caused by large volumes of construction waste in St. Petersburg. annual growth and the negative impact on the environment. The analysis demonstrates positive dynamics in recycling while their landfilling reduced and reuse increased. The article analysed legal acts regulating handling with construction wastes.
