Abstract. Advances in science, technology and modern development of Infocommunication give us temptation no longer take care of our home - planet earth: about its ecology, the resource base necessary to mankind, as we have before us the whole universe with resources. In this article, the author, based on the ideas of modern physics, points out some of the physical limits of the progress of science and technology towards the conquest of the universe. Particular attention is drawn to the possibility of infinite energy production and consumption. Considering these issues, the author comes to the conclusion that mankind in its development occurs with the framework that cannot be overcome, as they are the fundamental laws of nature. This understanding gives us a picture of the world in which we have only one house - the planet Earth, and it should be comprehended by everyone.
