Innovation management in small business

This article describes the possibilities of the innovation for small businesses. Referred to the recent changes in this area. The authors provide such factors increasing the role of small business in innovation as the transition to the nonlinear model and openness of innovation process, the formation of venture capital funds, changes in the psychology motivation of workers, the general rise in educational levels, government support for small business and innovation, and others. In general considered the innovative potential of small organization. The authors identify a number of tasks, which will reduce the risks of innovation for small firms. These tasks includes: a clear formulation of goals, improving the efficiency of feedbacks, formation the organizational culture conducive to the implementation of the innovation process, detection and effective use of competitive advantages.
