Abstract. The methods of heat recovery high temperature flue gases from furnaces for a heat treatment of metal products are considered. The recommendations for the heat recovery technology of flue gases for both internal and external consumption using plate heat exchangers, waste heat boilers and thermal power plants are developed. The estimated fuel economy is determined.
