Abstract. Under the influence of ideas of self-regulation of market the problem of coordination of economic activities has not been investigated for a long time and nowadays remains insufficiently explored. There are a lot of classifications of the types, mechanisms, forms and methods of coordination and plenty of terms. In the present paper we consider the possibilities of synthesis of the existent approaches and creation of the general theory of coordination of economic activities.
