Abstract. Based on the analysis of foreign and domestic scientific literature, as well as official documents in banking found that there is no clearly understood the term "banking service". The lack of clearly fixed term - that reduces the effectiveness of management in banking activity, as well as a prerequisite for abuse in this areа. Generalizing the most common interpretation of "banking services", the author proposed its own definition.
