Explores the role of the Soviet leadership in changing scientific technical policy of the USSR in the field of nuclear missiles and defense system of Moscow. It is shown that in the first History of the Soviet Union was tasked with creating a single scientific production cycle, based on their own fundamental research. Highlights the work of LP Beria as a curator missile and nuclear industries of the military-industrial complex, as well as creation of electronic weapons.
