Abstract. Discusses the philosophical aspects of self-identity as a human development in modern conditions of society, involving the most efficient use of the individual features of his personal capacity. Whether the person to step up their strength for life and achieve some of its objectives, to adapt to the given conditions of its existence, acquire the necessary autonomy in society - these issues are relevant and require interpretation. At the present stage of development of Russian society active personality acts as the main link of society, aimed at identity and freedom. The authors have shown that the values in the aspect of social normativity ensure the stability of society, in which there is a change - reform, innovative processes, dynamic and progressive development of the personality, its awareness of its social significance.
