The article discloses the structure and dynamics of professional objectives and their role in students’ activity management. It represents the results of an empirical study on a number of parameters reflecting students’ attitude to their perspective profession and its different aspects. Three types of students are distinguished depending on their level of professional objectives. It is concluded that professional orientations are completely developed in graduate students and regulate intensity, quality and the results of their educational activity.
