Abstract. In this article the authors examine the influence of organizational culture on innovation potential in general and the human innovative capacity in particular. The characteristics of employees that are most relevant to innovation are considered in the article. It argues that organizational culture is one of the most important factors in the development of innovative capacity of the organization. Also it defines the type of culture most suitable for an innovative company – adhocracy.
