The provision of the increasing quality of medical services using the improvement of Dental Clinic's crisis management

The start of economic liberalization  in Russia in 1990’s was accompanied by the separation of the unified healthcare system, the development of the market of paid medical services and the introduction of  a mandatory and voluntary medical insurance. As a result the medical institutions were given more autonomy in their activities and the legal protection of the patients’ rights has expanded. All that have formed an effective mechanism to ensure the quality of medical care. This article presents a historical perspective of the development of St.Petersburg Public dental clinic №1 including the specific management in the conditions of planned and market economics, when the necessity of sustainable development in the background of increasing competition and public demands has appeared.
