In the article the specific character of the functioning of the labor market in Russia in 21 century is examined. It consists in the presence of three models of the labor market: the national, regional, domestic market for the labor of organization. The characteristic of these models of the labor market is given. The special features of the formation of the wages in each model of the labor market are analyzed. The measures of the effectiveness of the state policy of the employment of population are proposed.
