The article considers the theoretical foundations of financial stability of the enterprise. The analysis of the financial stability of the company as an example of an industrial enterprise JSC "Plant "Energy" was made. According to the results of calculation of coefficients and the analysis of their dynamics revealed a low level of financial stability. However, the resulting output does not match the main indicators of economic activity, which showed an increase during the study period. Thus, authors made conclusion about the necessity of systemic and comprehensive approaches in assessing the economic condition and the innovation potential of the company, including production and technical potential. So the financial sustainability is a tool for economic growth and innovative development of the enterprise in the long term. Based on a comprehensive analysis of the financial activity of JSC Plant "Energy" identified reserves and possible directions of innovative development.
